1 Warranty conditions
1.1 Our warranty applies to all refurbished and new products that you purchase from ProNova. This means that all hardware-related faults during the warranty period are repaired completely, without being charged by ProNova in the repair department. Software failures and user errors are not covered under warranty.
1.2 When there is an issue with the product covered by the warranty,
we guarantee the repair or replacement of the defective product or part.
1.3 The warranty always starts on the day that the product is being purchased. Please see the date on the invoice and cover all material defects that occur during regular use.
1.5 The defective part of the product is being repaired or replaced by identical or similar elements.
1.6 To claim the warranty, the buyer must present the original proof of purchase; so we beseech our buyer to save the original purchase receipt. We reserve the right to reject the warranty claim if the proof of purchase cannot be provided.
2 Buyer cannot execute the warranty conditions
- If a buyer has neglected his/ her equipment. For instance, when a buyer has not protected his PC against the unstable electricity supply in Aruba by using a UPS battery backup.
- In the event of any improper use, wrong connection, incorrect main voltage, lightning strike, damage due to moisture, dust, salt or any other external causes or disasters.
- Normal wear.
- Products whose brand, designation type, and serial number have been changed or removed.
- Minor deviations that are irrelevant to the functionality of the product.
- Defects due to incorrect or wrong use.
- Defects as a result of neglect or improper maintenance.
- Use or installation of any items or parts in violation of the instructions.
- Defects due to computer virus or software error.
- Defects that result from the use of non-original parts, peripherals, and software.
- When the buyer or a third party carries out repair work on the products delivered by ProNova, the guarantee will lapse.
- The responsibility of the software is for the end user; ProNova is not liable for defects in software. No guarantee is given on solutions for software problems.
- ProNova is not and will never be responsible for data damage or loss.
3 Warranty periods and scope of the warranty
3.1 When you purchase a new PC or any of our products, you will receive a 6-month guarantee, provided the buyer has installed the PC on a UPS battery backup due to the unstable electricity supply in Aruba. ProNova will repair or replace the defective parts of the product, and the warranty covers 100% of the wages (only at our workshop).
3.2 We give a 6-month warranty on any refurbished PCs. ProNova will replace the defective part, and the warranty covers 100% of the wages (only at our workshop).
3.3 We give a 6-month warranty on refurbished laptops. ProNova will decide if to replace the defective part or exchange the computer. The guarantee covers 100% of the wages (all in our workplace).
3.4 There is no warranty on laptop batteries.
3.5 After exchanging or replacing, the warranty will not start again.
4 Exchange policy
4.1 Buyer can exchange his purchase if desired within three days of purchase and upon presentation of his proof of purchase. The invoice provides that the equipment or product is complete, undamaged, and in its original form or packaging. The product will be tested if it was used or modified by the buyer. If not used, a credit note will be applied, and if the product was used in any way by the buyer, you do not qualify, and this does not apply.
4.2 When exchanging a product with ProNova, no money will be returned, but a credit note is given for the full amount and applied to the new desired product.
5 Repairs outside the warranty
If there is a repair during the warranty period that falls outside the warranty conditions, the repair will not be carried out until after a quotation of the repair is provided for the customer. By the quotation, the customer must decide within seven days whether the repair should be carried out. If the consumer does not respond within seven days, the equipment will be returned unrepaired with an invoice to cover the research, handling, and logistics costs.
Products prices are subject to changes.
If a PC, laptop, or any device is not picked up after three months, it will be destroyed.
